Welcome to Cleanse (the “App”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“user”, “you”) and us. Please read them carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
- If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
- The App provides on-device cleanup utilities, including but not limited to:
- Photo and video cleanup and deduplication
- Contacts deduplication and merge suggestions
- File and image compression
- Other device storage optimization features
- Core features are performed locally on your device. Your photos, videos, contacts, and files are not uploaded to our servers.
- No account system is required; you can use all features without registration or login.
3. License and Restrictions
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
- You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code except as permitted by law
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App
- Use the App for any unlawful, infringing, or unauthorized purpose
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- You are responsible for managing device permissions (e.g., Photos, Contacts) and for outcomes of your actions (e.g., deletion, merge, compression).
- Before performing any irreversible actions (such as delete or merge), carefully review the content. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by improper operations.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Some features are available via subscription.
- All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store’s in-app purchase system. We do not directly process or store your payment information.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Cancellation, refunds, and related matters are handled by Apple. Please contact Apple directly for assistance.
- Free trials, renewals, billing, and refunds are subject to Apple’s App Store policies.
6. Disclaimers
- The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will meet all your requirements or be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by: (a) user error or misuse; (b) third-party software, hardware, or system failures; (c) force majeure or events beyond our reasonable control.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
7. Intellectual Property
- The App and all related content (including UI/UX, text, images, and code) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
- You may not use, copy, modify, distribute, or exploit such content without prior written authorization.
8. Privacy
We care about your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we process data.
9. Changes to These Terms
- We may amend these Terms from time to time due to business or legal requirements. We will provide notice within the App or by other reasonable means. Changes take effect upon publication unless otherwise stated.
- Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App immediately if you breach these Terms.
- You may stop using the App at any time and remove it from your device.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules).
- Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiations. If no resolution is reached, either party may bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction at our domicile.
